Finally, the birthday pictures are up
I promised these a while back but you know me, Mrs. Procrastinator. I still can't believe Ty is 5 now and Ava will be 2 in only 6 short weeks. Ty says he doesn't like being 5 and like my little sister said, he feels that his heart still says he's 4. Tonight is Halloween so I'll be posting more pics probably later than sooner.
Oh, one more thing, we went on a haunted hayride last night complete with scary monsters that jumped out of the woods and hanging corpses. Ty LOVED it! He wanted to do it again and even wanted to go through the haunted house afterwards! The haunted house was a bit too scary for the kids so while a few adults (wimps!) stayed behind the rest of us went through. I REALLY get freaked out by scary looking clowns probably due to the fact that I watched the movie IT at a relatively young age and since then have been petrified of clowns. Well needless to say this haunted house was all about clowns, aren't they all? Well Mike and I started out at the end of the line and by mid-way I had snuck behind everyone and ended up in the front. I figured I had done well since I hadn't screamed all the way through. Well, the last room we went through was empty, except for a few couches or something, at least I thought. Then I turned and saw a dark painted face crouching in the corner. Scared the crap out of me! I screamed and ran for the door. Whew, good thing I wore my tennis shoes last night! Thanks Susan, we had a great time!
