A story of a sweet little girl named Allie brought me to tears. I read day after day of her batte with AML and on September 13, 2004 she lost her fight. She was only 9 months old, born one day after Ava. Please pray for strength for her family today and always.

Allie's mom, Jenny, still posts regularly, and I still read of all they have accomplished since Allie's passing. They are an amazing family, as is their little girl.

Now to end on a happier note....
The other day Mike had to take Ty to school since I was getting my wisdom teeth pulled. His teacher told Mikey of another funny Ty story. She said he was sitting at a table at lunch surrounded by girls (of course, he is his father's son!) and he looked around and said, "Hey, why are all you girls sitting around me? Oh, it's because you love me right?". I think I will start calling him "Lover Boy".

Oh my gosh, I've followed Allie's story too and have read the family's site for over a year now. (Allie and my Ava share the same birthday.) It's so tragic what happened to their little girl but also amazing how many people she was able to touch.

Hey girl, that Ty is a heartbreaker already eh? Did you find your rings yet? I pray you do. I hope you are doing better, I also read about Allie and Maggie and Brandy all the time, That woman is so so so strong!! I have also started reading Sam's site and Jacob who desperately needs prayers and Emerald (who is also an angel now). Makes me so thankful for what we have. I hope Ava is better, Sydney had HFM and was so uncomfortable but motring and tylenol alternated helped some. also the maalox or mylanta swabed in the mouth for the sores seemed to help. Let me know if I can do anything, I need to get you a check for the family, but we are battling the storm right now, so it might be the end of the week. Please pray that we don't get too much flooding, I've moved everything as high as I can. Love you please take care, talk to you soon, Brandi
