Ava started throwing up Friday night and went until Sunday. Tyler started on Sunday and went until Tuesday early in the morning and then Mikey started right before Ty stopped. I thankfully didn't get it. Ty threw up on our new comforter so I threw it into the washer where it got ripped up in several places and at the same time the washer decided to freak out and pour water all over the floor. So not only did I have pukey sheets and clothes everywhere but I couldn't wash them! Finally I swallowed my pride and went to the laundry mat. I am sorry if this sounds snobish but EWWWW! I am so glad Ty and Ava stayed home with daddy while I went. Now everyone is in recovery. I am going to post pics of all the rooms I have painted soon. That's all for tonight, its been a long few days and I am tired.

I forgot to mention this life altering conversation I had with my darling son last night after our date.
Me, "So what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Tyler, "I just want to be a Daddy"
Me, "You know you don't HAVE to be a Daddy if you don't want to"
Tyler, "No, I just want to be a Daddy. Oh and a truck driver."
I remember I wanted to be a lawyer and drive a BMW. Let's hope he has more motivation that I did.
I feel sorry for my daughter, I really do, but because I got my girl she will be subjected to hairstyles such as these for the next few years...............
Tyler and I had a date last night. He has been needing some Mommy time alone so we went to dinner (at PizzaHut, his choice) and then bowling. He bowled a spare his first frame and even a couple of strikes during our 3 games. The lightest ball they had was 6 pounds and he wanted to carry it most of the time. He didn't roll the ball, he threw it. He'd chunk it down the lane where it rolled approximately 1 mile per hour at the MAX and then either stood there and jumped up and down saying. "I'm gonna get it, I'm gonna get it" or he would take a few steps back and do that football huddle kneel. He was so happy the whole time and just kept saying over and over, "It's just me and you Mommy". That was as much fun as I have had on any date, prior to Daddy that is.
Maybe once I finish painting I will get some pictures posted. We still need to finish tiling by the front door and our bathroom. Soon.

Ok, so it took Ava no time at all to put her jacket on the other day, the correct way. So why is it that Tyler, who is a full 3 + years older than Ava, puts his jacket on inside out and upside down????
My Mom's answer: "That's a girl for ya."
My Dad's answer: "That's a boy for ya."
Whoever thought you two could "almost" agree on the same subject ;-)
Ava has a new face she makes now. This is what she does when I catch her doing something she isn't supposed to be doing or when her brother does something he's not supposed to.............
She also is getting so much hair! Take a look!
Today she passed gas and then laughed and looked at Tyler and said "Bubba?". She's already trying to blame it on someone else!
And one more pic, just because it's cute.

Tyler has about a hundred books of all sorts but instead of wanting to read the other night he built a trail of books starting in our room and going all the way to the livingroom. "They are stones" he said. He would step very carefully on each one to add to the end and come right back on them one by one to gather more.
Ava is so into lovong A.J. Unfortunatly A.J. isn't as much into loving Ava. As soon as A.J. sees Ava headed for her, she tries to find safety elsewhere. Ava is mostly very gentle with her though, she pets her and hugs her all day long calling her "dog dog". It is very sweet.
Okay, we have a problem here............Ava thinks when she toots or burps it's funny. Well now she is taking Daddy's electric razor and walking around the house pretending to shave.
And lastly, Do you want to know what Ava's new favorite past time is??? Let me tell you! Today as Ty was putting on his underwear Ava just b-lined for his bootie and pinch each cheek! She thought it was so funny to see Tyler jump about a mile high. And who could resist such a cute bootie? I thought it was pretty funny too. Of course I got a picture of that too but I am not posting it here out of fear of some old perv finding this site and adoring my child's bum.

This is what you get when you let your 4 year old pick out his own clothes and dress himself to go with daddy outside...........

Carebears! It's so nice to walk into the store and be filled with childhood memories of a strawberry shortcake doll that blew strawberry smelling kisses and my little ponies with tails and mains to comb and CAREBEARS! Ava apparently loves the new carebear my mom gave her for Valentines Day. She walks around giving it hugs and kisses all day. A kiss ususally means the purple carebears' entire nose being completley engulfed by Ava's mouth. It's as big as she is but she manages to get around with it.
The other day I was getting ready to feed her dinner and I took off her shirt so it wouldn't get stained and she looked up and me and said "Bath?". This girl is so smart! She understand almost all simple commands not like get your shoes, or get the ball, or get your bear. She just seems too little to already be understanding so much.
Now as for Tyler, well I think he has some baby fever. He came up to me a few days ago and said "I want you to have another baby. I want to have a sister for Ava to play with." How sweet but how totally unrealistic! Seriously, there will be no talk of babies in this house for AT LEAST a few more years. PERIOD!
While we were shopping yesterday he comes up to me and says, "I have a flat, can you fix it?". Then he lifts his untied shoe up. I am assuming a "flat" is an untied shoelace.
Ok, now remember the green cricket arguement I had with him about a week or 2 ago about crickets being green? If not here it is again for you to read...............
"Tyler is, well, Tyler. He is all knowing and beautiful. He believes that crickets are green and grasshoppers are not. We got into a discussion today about it and let me give those of you who have not been blessed with one of these debates, give in, he will always win. I tried to explain to him tonight that he will miss out on some important lessons in life if he thinks he is always right, his response, "But I am always right". *sigh* "
Well I found a book about bugs and showed him that grasshoppers where green but some could be brown and that crickets were indeed brown and NOT green as I had told him before. Well today we watched Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat and he told me from the very beginning to just watch, there is such a thing as green crickets. I was half asleep still since it was 7:30 am and just said uh huh. Sure enough a singing green cricket was in the program. This is not going to be good with his already inflating self assurance. I guess we can all learn a little just by listening, even if its only to a four year old.
