I am sorry, I can't do this anymore. I sat pateintly everyday on the rug for you waiting and watching Ryan put his arm around you. Ryan is my best friend and there is this code of conduct between guys that we don't go for the same girl so I have to say good-bye. Besides, I have a new girl now, Abbie.......AND I love her glasses! So long Chloe.

I promised these a while back but you know me, Mrs. Procrastinator. I still can't believe Ty is 5 now and Ava will be 2 in only 6 short weeks. Ty says he doesn't like being 5 and like my little sister said, he feels that his heart still says he's 4. Tonight is Halloween so I'll be posting more pics probably later than sooner.
Oh, one more thing, we went on a haunted hayride last night complete with scary monsters that jumped out of the woods and hanging corpses. Ty LOVED it! He wanted to do it again and even wanted to go through the haunted house afterwards! The haunted house was a bit too scary for the kids so while a few adults (wimps!) stayed behind the rest of us went through. I REALLY get freaked out by scary looking clowns probably due to the fact that I watched the movie IT at a relatively young age and since then have been petrified of clowns. Well needless to say this haunted house was all about clowns, aren't they all? Well Mike and I started out at the end of the line and by mid-way I had snuck behind everyone and ended up in the front. I figured I had done well since I hadn't screamed all the way through. Well, the last room we went through was empty, except for a few couches or something, at least I thought. Then I turned and saw a dark painted face crouching in the corner. Scared the crap out of me! I screamed and ran for the door. Whew, good thing I wore my tennis shoes last night! Thanks Susan, we had a great time!
Here is just a cute pic I got of Ava. Blackmail!
Tyler got a candy bouquet from my Uncle Fred, Aunt Bobbi, Madison and Riley. It was so cute and a great idea. Thanks guys!
On Ty's actual birth date we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate.

This year we decided to do Ava and Ty's party together since Ava's is in December and everyone is so busy at that time of year. Of course we will still have our own intimate little party then but she enjoyed dressing up as Tinkerbell for the Peter Pan themed party. Ty was Peter but refused to wear the hat, I have to say I really don't blame him. I promise to post pics soon.
He told me the other day that Chloe, the little girl in his class that he likes, now likes Ryan. Ryan always sits next to her on the rug and puts his arm around her. So I asked him what he was going to do and he told me, "I'll just wait for Chloe to come back". Aweeeeeee

I was going to post this message yesterday but of course as usually my computer was on the fritz SO, let's just pretend I did this on October 6th.
Today (Oct 6) 5 years ago Tyler was due. I anxiously waited this date to come and then it did, with no implications of an upcomng birth any time soon. I cried as I left the doctor's office, riddled with exhaustion and emotions over flowing. I just wanted to meet my son. Six days later I was induced and finally got to meet the gorgeous boy I have always dreamed of. I finally found the title I had been soul searching so long for, "Mommy".
In a few more days we will be celebrating his FIFTH birthday. How did this creep up on me so fast? No matter how big he gets. he will always be MY baby. He's the laughter in my dark moments and the humour I don't think I have ever had. He's a breath of fresh air when life is stale and a wonderful taste of delight in my life.
I love you sweetheart.
My first moments with my first baby

Yesterday when I went to go meet Ty at his bus stop and he told me that Ryan (a kid from his class that also rides the same bus) had another girlfriend. I asked him why he thought that and he said, "Because there is always a girl waiting for him when he gets off the bus". Then the conversation went to a girl at school that Ty calls "Cwoe". Now I can just assume that her name is really "Chloe" but who knows these days.
Anyhow, Ty says that is his new girlfriend and when I asked what she looked like he said, "She has long hair on the sides and in the back and it's brown and her face, well, it's just beautiful". How sweet is that? Although it sounds like he prefers a specific type because those details sound alot like what Sarah looked like (his EX from preschool). I'll have to see for myself next time I go up there. He also told me that he likes her and she likes him and sometimes they sit together at lunch. I just think that is the cutest thing ever!
He is also learning so much at school too. He is writing his letters very well and sounding them out very well too, for example he knows that apple begins with the letter A. It's so wonderful to see how far he is coming along and how their routines work. I ate lunch with him last week and all the kids get in a line and get one fork out of one bucket, a spoon out of another bucket, a napkin and then a milk. Then they go through the food line and tell the lunch lady what they do or don't want on their tray and on to the cashier to tell them their name. We then ate while all the kids told me how they "had a monster truck at home" or how they "went to Seaworld". It was fun, I may have to break down and have some of that aweful food again to go visit my baby soon.
